Sakura Onigiri
sakura onigiri by @momoslimes_ _ ๐ธ texture: perlite x lava rock ๐ธ scent: fresh peach, elderflower, satsuma, and apple ๐ธ size: medium ๐ธ note: those little dark pebbles in the slime are totally normal since perlite is a natural element, and they crush up as you play First, a quick moment on Sakura Onigiri, they are Japanese cherry blossom rice balls, traditionally a seasonal staple for hanami (cherry blossom viewing) picnics in spring. They are made by mixing rice with pickled, salted sakura blossoms, which gives them a delicate pink color, a lightly floral fragrance, and a salty-sweet flavor. Such a perfect inspiration for a slime, honestly. Now to this beauty. Texturally, this one is really great. I love the perlite and lava rock combo, it gives such a satisfying crunchy, crackly feel without ever feeling harsh. I have medium tofu hands and this was not rough on me at all. I could see that changing if you played with it for a really long time, but for my play session it was such a satisfying experience. The scent is so refreshing. Momo took some of their best scents and layered them together so you catch hints of each at different times. Peach floats up first, then elderflower, then a little satsuma, then apple. A really beautiful, light, springy combo that suits the sakura theme perfectly. OVERALL: 9.5/10 Have YOU tried this one? Drop your thoughts below!
