My grandfather used to make tapioca with the large pearls and it was so good and there is a restaurant near me that makes it homemade and he always asked if I want cinnamon on top, so I show up to this kind of slime with high tapioca standards lol. The texture is so spot on. The packed white glue slushie beads give that perfect chewy gummy tapioca pearl feel, with the smooth creamy base wrapping around them. Watching the faux cinnamon spread out and swirl through the slime as you play is perfect. Zero fallout, which is impressive given how packed it is with beads. Scent wise, cardamom hits hard first and the creamy rice milk sits a little further back than I expected. I would love a touch more of rice milk creamy balance, but the cardamom itself is warm and authentic and makes you feel like you are about to take a real bite of dessert. Classic, realistic, SO much fun. Food based slimes are my weakness and the wooden spoon seals the whole homemade tapioca shop vibe.
