Today we’re diving into Catercorn by Sandy Slimes. This is a kinetic sand snow butter topped with a living floam, scented like wedding cake, sweet raspberry, and fresh cream. First off, how freaking cute is this slime? The pink-on-pink aesthetic with the Catercorn charm is just too cute. In the Sandy Bros universe…cats can be anything! Some of my favorite textures are Sandy Bros’ slightly gritty slimes, and this one is right at the top of the list. I absolutely loved the way the kinetic sand felt in this snow butter base. It’s slightly gritty, but it doesn’t feel sandy. The living floam adds another gentle layer of texture, making it feel chubby, chewy, and incredibly satisfying to squeeze. It has a great stretch and inflates really well. The inflated texture falls somewhere between a fluffy marshmallow and chewy gum. It has that marshmallow softness but with a little more heft. The base also held all of the sand exceptionally well with zero fallout. The ASMR is super satisfying. It produces constant, sharp, deep crackly bubble pops that are pure music to my ears. You can get some finger pokes and clicks from it as well, but the real star of the show is those incredible bubble pops. The scent is on the stronger side, which I love. I think the raspberry is the most prominent note in the scent profile, but I can definitely pick up the cake and fresh cream notes as well. Based on the description, I expected something similar to Whipped Raspberry by Sandy Bros, but it’s completely unique.
