Name: Curiosity and Oddity Slime Jar Lab Slimer: @sparklenannyslime Texture: dust bloom Scent: forgotten pastry case Good afternoon friends! We are diving into the Curiosity & Oddities Slime Jar Lab by Sparkle Nanny. This one is a dust bloom texture scented Forgotten Pastry Case, and I chose the oddity add-ins. This slime is from her first Curiosity & Oddities drop. She accidentally made mine in this texture when I had originally ordered Specimen Gel, and she graciously let me keep this one as well. I’m really glad she did because it quickly became one of my favorites from the collection. The texture sits perfectly between thick and thin, making it incredibly foldable and satisfying to handle. It’s non-sticky, non-tacky, and wonderful for stretching, squeezing, and creating bubble pops. I also loved the slightly off-white color, which felt perfectly on theme for the scent. Since Forgotten Pastry Case is the same fragrance used in my Curiosity & Oddities Specimen Gel slime from this drop, I’m borrowing the scent description from that review because it fits perfectly here as well. The scent is unique and incredibly well done. It’s not specifically “fresh baked cookies” or a warm-from-the-oven pastry scent. Instead, it’s sweet with a subtle clean note that makes it feel surprisingly atmospheric. It smells like the inside of a pastry case that once held incredible baked goods but has long since been forgotten by time. Weirdly specific? Absolutely. Accurate? Also absolutely. The scent pairs beautifully with the aged, slightly mysterious aesthetic of this slime and really brings the Curiosity & Oddities theme to life.
