-- rose petal cake by @slimeretriever QOTD: Do you trust DIY clay when it's paired with a crunchy or sandy base? Review Notes: -- soooo I try to be conscious and post one, maybe 2 slimes from the most recent restock for a shop in a timely manner before going back to my backlog videos, and this one HAD to jump the proverbial line. This clay piece and the pigment used is just BEAUTIFUL. Victoria included a very generous baggie of add ins plus a charm. Of course I had to make my rose studded with pearls and rhinestones! ‼️INCOMING RANT: recently, I've noticed A LOT of shops making crunchy or sandy bases and releasing them with DIY clay. Quite frankly, there's almost ZERO shops I trust to make a slime with this combination that will have zero fallout. Every single one I've tried until now has fallout once the clay is mixed in and it enrages me enough to throw the slime right in the TRASH. Do they not test this!? Honestly it's so frustrating when this happens, and it's a huge waste of money to be blunt. That saying that a little sand fallout is normal? NO, IT ISN'T. I disagree because I've had many slimes packed with sand or ground pumice and there's been NONE, so it can be done‼️ -- ahem. I was worried when I saw the size of this clay piece combined with wg perlite, but Victoria said in her listing she had no fallout once mixed, so I chose to trust her and give it a whirl. I'M SUPER IMPRESSED. This is fairly packed with perlite and it became so soft, chubby, poofy, inflating and wasn't tacky at all and had zero fallout! I'm seriously impressed with this! It also gave me fairy fingers but whatever, that washes off easily and there was no staining. -- this scent. It's rose and cream forward, not perfumey. It wasn't sweet, more of like, a neutral rose + milk bath? I love rose scents so it works for me, but was not quite what I was expecting & I'm fine with that. Medium strength.
