I really enjoy how sizzly perlite is and how pleasant it is on the hands, so I reach for it a lot. Those stones are super lightweight and crispy and you get extreme asmr out of just a light press. The scent is spot on salty sea air, which is perfect for a lake slime, and the thick glossy base under all that sizzle is so good. I usually prefer oceans, but I love how calm and serene a lake can be. Ocean vibes do not carry that same serenity. The best lake I have ever been to is Lake Tahoe. The water is crystal clear in a way that does not even make sense. There is a bay there called Emerald Bay that is this stunning deep green, and it has the Emerald Bay Maritime Heritage Trail, an underwater state park where divers can explore sunken historic barges and boats. It is just super cool.
