I’m a huge fan of the Japanese paper clay texture — it has that dense, slightly pulpy feel with thunderous pops but still stretches like a dream. The texture alone makes me happy, and it’s super moisturizing too. Scent: 5/5 — The scent is so unique and genuinely beautiful. It’s hard to create a scent memory you’ve never had before, and this one pulls it off. Worn leather, rosewood, and old library books with just a whisper of lilac — it actually smells like getting lost in a quiet study. Unforgettable. Sound/ASMR: 4/5 — Really great pops, exactly the kind you’d hope for from this texture. Aesthetic: 5/5 — Visually it’s a stunner. I love the lilac crochet bookmark charm so much that I wish I had multiples so I could put them in various places around the house to make me smile. For now it’s staying on my table and will soon be transferred to my car. I didn’t end up using the “From the Library of Sandy Slimes” dissolvable library card insert because it was just simply too cool — I decided to save it (for now). Creativity: 5/5 — The creativity is everywhere in this one. The handmade crochet bookmark, the beautiful label design (complete with Sandy’s signature black cat AND Caroline’s hamster Espresso), the disintegrating library card, the glossy glittery clear bead topper, the layered scent — it’s all around extremely creative and playful. Quality: 5/5 — Super non-tacky, gets super inflated, and the quality is hands down top three for me. This one is sold out now, but I highly recommend grabbing it if it makes a comeback.
