Name: Misery Made Me Slimer: @eastbayslimes Texture: chewy wood glue slay Scent: honey skin cotton, tinged with blood, stitched leather, beeswax, earth, damp decay Good afternoon, friends ✨ We’re diving into Misery Made Me by East Bay Slimes. This is a chewy wood glue slay scented with honeyed skin, cotton bindings tinged by blood, stitched leather, beeswax, earth, and damp decay… basically a whole horror movie bottled into slime. So after the last East Bay review, I swore we were breaking our purple streak… and yet here we are again 💜😂 honestly, no complaints tho - I love purple. Once fully mixed, it settles into this gorgeous mauve that feels straight out of a 90s time capsule. Tell me I’m not the only one who remembers the mauve era… couches, walls, bathroom towels… my mom was fully committed. The clay pieces? Incredible. The detail, the coloring, the slightly eerie vibe…they don’t just sit on top, they perform. The base on its own is clicky and glossy, super satisfying, but once you start folding in the clay, it forms these beautiful swirls before melting down into a rich, creamy texture. And when I say creamy, I mean luxury lotion but make it slime. It’s one of the standout textures from them so far for me. Now let’s talk scent, because this one is layered like a moody playlist 🎶 It leans clean and earthy with a soft sweetness tucked underneath, probably from the honeyed skin or beeswax. I won’t pretend I can pick out every single note, but I can say this: it’s complex without being overwhelming. If you’ve been curious about more adventurous scents, this is a safe little step into that world. Nothing feels too “out there” and everything blends together really well. #vintagehorror #slime #slimereview #slimevideo #eastbayslimes
