Name: National Black Cat Day Slimer: @sandybroslimes Texture: Pigmented coated clear w/ DIY clay piece Scent: fresh melon, juicy pear, and sparkling Vanilla Today we are looking at National Black Cat Day by Sandy Bro Slimes 🐈‍⬛ This one is a coated clear pigment that shifts from light green to black, and it is STUNNING. Like oil on water at midnight. I honestly could not bring myself to mix the entire clear base with the clay because it was just too pretty to sacrifice. The clay piece is a cute black cat face with bright green eyes, and the eyes are removable. I separated part of the clear base and only mixed some of it with the clay. Once mixed, the black completely takes over. It consumed the pigment in the portion I blended and turned into this gorgeous matte black clay texture. After it sits, the micro sand and glitter settle and form this sparkly layer along the bottom. It is oddly satisfying to fold it back in over and over again, like waking up tiny constellations hiding in the dark ✨ The scent is light and fruity. You definitely get the pear notes with fresh melon floating through. It is soft, clean, and not overpowering at all. Just enough to make it feel fresh. Black cats have a special place in my heart. My best friend is involved in cat rescue and has taken in several black cats. They are often the hardest to get adopted and are still unfairly associated with bad luck. Seeing a slime dedicated to celebrating them, with a meaningful story behind it, made this one even more special to me.
